InnovAzul will feature an “Open Innovation” session in this 2022 edition, i.e. a space open to innovation that aims to give visibility and promotion to both researchers with potentially exploitable results and innovative companies with collaborative initiatives. The aim is to facilitate a meeting point in which to combine the internal knowledge of companies and institutions with external knowledge in order to move research and development projects forward.
To this end, interested companies and researchers can register until 21 October and apply to include a short presentation (maximum 10 minutes) in the “Open Innovation” session. The topic of the presentation should be related to a traditional or emerging sector of the Blue Economy or to horizontal technologies applicable to these sectors.
Presentations can be made by researchers with innovative results that can potentially be used by society, by companies or technology-based business projects using results from the public R&D&I system, innovative companies with promising projects and companies with collaborative initiatives. The Organising Committee will select the papers on the basis of their interest, their contribution to the objectives of InnovAzul and the organisation’s commitment to the event.
InnovAzul is a meeting place for companies, institutions, research centres and universities with the clear objective of facilitating collaboration between the different agents in the system to promote innovation and contribute to generating a modern, sustainable and competitive economy.
